For those who haven’t heard we have a new one coming. In preparation the wife and I decided to each have our own baby supply bags. She wants one that looks more like a large purse, and I want one that has a manly look to it. No more little bears or other cutsie stuff for us since the bags are for our convenience and not the baby’s.

So, what kind of many bags can be found? Post up some pics for suggestions…

Perhaps a Sparco helmet bag would work? That's manly.

Outside of that, just go shopping at baby stores. They do have non-feminine looking stuff most of the time. Or just generic places like REI have a good selection of different bags. My wife isn't into feminine looking bags most of the time, so all our stuff is comfortable for me to carry by default. And I'm pretty sure she got it all at "normal" places. *shrug*

Though I'm digging the Sparco idea. Of course, around these parts most folks wouldn't have a clue what it was. Maybe you need something from Simpson instead. ;)

Never had to worry about it, but I'd think a knapsack, gymbag, or laptop bag would work... or maybe something army surplus?

Not that I have any kids to worry about. At least until the bloodwork comes back, but I'd always thought that any messenger bag would make a better diaper bag than something with bears and duckies on it.

I've had one of these that I've beat the hell out of. YMMV.

I know absolutely nothing about birthin' no babies.

These guys will do bags in just about any size or color combo. I used them for several years when I rode a bike to work.

OneStepAhead has a lot of good baby items. We bought our backpack from them.

Held what we needed to tote around for our twins.

If you're carrying that bag with a baby in the other arm, it doesn't speak well for the brand.
