I am looking to get a reasonable (read cheap) in car video camera for use in my track car as well as the Rx-8. I would like the recorder to be able to accept a bullet style camera (chasecam.com) also. It also must be able to record full sessions on the track and not just 60 second autocross runs.

I have seen cheap DVR recorders that accept the bullet cams, has anyone had experience with them? (link: http://www.neurosaudio.com/store/produc ... e%5Ftest=1 )

I would prefer to have a camera that I could use elsewhere as well, so those DVRs are not ideal.

Bump for any info that may have made it to Adam but not publicly. I'm looking for something similar myself.

Chasecam PDR100 is the bomb so far. Use along with a Chasecam bullet cam for best results (and easiest wiring). It *looks* like an S-video connector on the bullet-cams, but do not be fooled. It's high res composite and they use that connector to also provide power (so don't go plugging it into an s-video input on something...use the splitter cable they give you to go to a power plug and an RCA plug).

I won't have mine tomorrow as I don't want to video anything and I don't want to leave the stuff sitting around.
