All Jim needs is a little more ground clearance.

That was a Firebird. What a waste of a nice body.

Wanna meet at the Fayetteville drag strip some Sunday?????? Anybody?

And before Dustin chims in - no you can't have a 3 second head start! Well actually, Dustin can. I've improved the car about a second since then.

1/4 mile. Why would anybody just race 60'? An all wheel drive might keep up for a while - a short while! :) Remember, with good drag radials and skinnies I have gotten a 1.6, 60'. I might be able to do a little better.

Les - I KNOW you don't mean the Miata! Let me see if I can link you to the last stock Corvette guy that thought he wanted to race! His passenger video'd us.

FYI, Chris Lanier's WS6 is faster than my car. He has 50 more HP unless I "cheat". However, the last time we raced, I won. Ask him about it.

You've made it to level four of the pyramid of speed, Walter; why keep going back to level three?

Um no, the Miata was fast, for a Miata, but that is an important distinction. :-) A solid 13 second car, but I know that is no match for your beast. I was referring the the Z06 of course. I know I've asked you before, but can't remember exactly what numbers your car puts down. I was thinking it was in the mid-high twelves without "cheating" and low mid-low twelves with. The best stock Z06 1/4 mile times I've seen were 12.4 ET. Hopefully I can get close to that, I'm not exactly foreign to the drag strip, and even have one drag racing trophy hanging in my garage. I clicked of 2.0 60' fts with the Miata on street tires like clock work, and even managed a 1.9 in my Mustang when the suspension was stock on the factory RS-A all season rocks. And most importantly I'm also the "THSCC Drag Queen of 2004" don't forget. ;-) Bring it on old man! :D

I don't get it. I'm old and went to public school. Translation?

The link is gone to my last Corvette drag race. Sorry. We'll just make another when we race!!!!

Yeah, that was probably a bad choice of wording. :D

Don't worry Walter, I didn't get it either, I think he might be trying to say that autocross is level four, and drag racing is level three. Apparently, he doesn't realize your car is not a Miata, and goes 115mph in the quarter, I can't remember the last autocross I went 115 mph. :)

We need to gather the list of Drag Queens.

2005 - Dustin Fredrickson
2004 - Les Davis

Who else holds this distinction?
