Les -- I run with everything off. On runs where I have forgotten to turn it off I am always a couple of tenths slower. It may feel like it isn't doing much, but it really does slow you down. Of course, this is assuming you can control the car enough to not be sliding at a 30 degree angle around every cone.

Driving a z06 is too much fun to let the computer drive part of the time.

Get yourself an account on Corvette Forum. Then read the FAQ in the Z06 section. It has a lot of detail and specs on the car. Then read the FAQ in the Track/Autox section. That will give you some ideas also. There are other forums out there dealing with Vettes but CF appears to have the largest audience and the most useful details.
