This was on display at Pebble Beach two weekends ago:

It's built on a stretched Elise chassis, and has a 1000 lb lithium-ion battery pack mounted vertically behind the passenger compartment. Around $100K.

The representatives present declined to say if the battery pack was manufactured by Sony :)
