I was at the game last night, what the heck happened? They kind of blew thier wad the first 50 seconds of the game.

We better bounce back on Monday, or this will be a very short playoff run...

I agree!!! To me it looked like they didn't really want to play. I couldn't watch the third period.

Of course the team hasn't been the same since Cole went out.

Hopefully Monday will be different.

We were watching time delayed, and fast forwarded through the last 15 minutes or so. Montreal wanted that game more than the Canes did, no doubt. The Canes just didn't seem to be playing playoff hockey.

The momentum definitely changed after the first 5 minutes of the first. The crowd was not as loud and the energy in the building changed. The people next to us left before the second period was over....

Part of the struggle we will have against the Habs is that they got rid of Theodore and Huet who was an unknown has really become a great goalie for them.

Gerber is good and really caught some bad breaks last night. In the third there were several chants calling for Cam Ward. Doubt we would have faired much better with him in goal.

Monday will be the test. If we can win that one at least the series will have to come back here for one more game. Too bad it is on the 30th at 2pm and I will be in Sanford.... :cryin:

They stunk last night. The first period they played pretty well but Motreal really took oever the play in second and carried the game.

After last night they might not even comeback to play on Sunday. That's what the brother's in law are hoping for. The Cane's have to do to Montreal what they did to them the last 2 games. Win on their home soil. After the comeback they did last night in the game I think they can do it, I hope.

The Molson Center is a tough road game, especially in the playoffs. Last night royally pissed me off. The officials in the overtime minutes must have been swapped with Bob and Doug McKensie, eh.

In OT the Call on Weight was very marginal but the phantom call on Brindy was unbelivable...

The funny thing about that is the deal with Royal Bank of Canada (based in Toronto, mind you) was hammered out during the playoff series that the Canes beat the Leafs a couple of years ago. They didn't say anything about the deal until after the playoffs because of that.

Well, Wednesday's game was huge. Tonight's game was off to a good start, but tied at two going into the 3rd. Should be a good period. I also just found out that the game on Sunday is at 7:30! Plenty of time to leave Sanford and catch the game at the RBC. My ticket isn't wasted after all!

c'mon, c'mom, c'mon, let's go 'canes!
