Is there anybody that might happen to have a bearing driver tool that is willing to lend it to me for a job this weekend. I have searched every known local store which might carry it with no luck. If you know where I might be able to pick one up by this weekend or can loan me one please let me know. The bearing I am trying to drive out is 1 3/4" dia. Thanks for any help.

Find a piece of pipe. I did all the bearings in the rear with no press or no other special tool.

If its the front, take the hub of and get a machine shop to do the dirty work.

Im with Todd, sell teh damn thing!

It's actually a balance shaft removal I am doing. Cant seem to get the front shaft bearing to budge with the home made stuff so I figured i would try a real tool and see what I get. I have everything all cleaned and ready to go back on. This bearing is the only thing holding me up. I would hate to get rid of a car that gets 22/30 MPG right now. Anyone want to buy a nice shiny silver quad cab Ram. Very well maintained. Going up for sale as soon as this project on the Talon is finished.
