Then why lie? Yes, riceboys, more Tauruses are stolen each year than your precious Hype R's.

Why you got to be a hater? Sounds to me like someone is jealous. Are you upset that no one wants to steal the Contour? Even after the swap?? Maybe if you put some 20's on it you will get you some thief love.

Since the story was done in 2005, I guess 2004 was a very bad year for 3rd gen integra owners.

Are those done by %? If you only sell 4 and 1 gets stolen....

Every once in while cars pop up on this list because dealers start dumping them and are sold to only people who can't afford anything else. Lots of times they are straw purchases (the ultimate owner is not who was on the finance deal), over financed, and/or going to very sketchy neighbor hoods. All which yeild themselves to be stolen. Hence Daewoo, Mirage, Escorts were on their for a while, etc.

Jeremy, Welcome to the forum!

Yes, that article uses the same CCC Information Services data that I mentioned earlier (8 out of top 25 are Integra). I looked on CCC's web site and could find the info on their site, but a few articles quote them as a source.

Anyone notice a pattern yet? There is about 2-3 sources for this info and they don't agree.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Interesting trivia about the #1 on that list: there were exactly as many 1999 ITRs sold in the USA as 1983 Corvettes.
