He did tell me it had 280 whp, well actually it was Buckley, but he was talking about Jim's car while Jim was standing there and Jim didn't deny it. Since the '92 5.0 Z28 was rated at 230 crank hp, something does not add up. ;-) Now, a 7.4L, I could see that making 280 whp...

Oh, and I only have one V8. :( But a 250hp Miata is almost like a V8. :D

Why didn't anyone suggest that Adam make an offer on Charlie Guthrie's 325 BMW track car. It has been the fastest in class at Patriot cours (for 4 laps....3 one day and one on day two). The car could be had for $3500, maybe less and it handles exactly like a BMW. The car has coil-over suspension for better tire life and improved handling. The car is cosmetically flawed due to touching the Patriot course guard rails. Becides Charlie is getting to old to drive really fast. Save him before he hurts himself. Quick, buy the car. Head up to VIR in April for a test ride.
Charlie Guthrie

Les...I exaggerated! The pseudo V8 is only 235/301. Just wanted to set the record straight so no one is looking for that supercharger. Honestly, that whine you heard this past weekend was the transmission :-)

Adam, here's a cheap R Car on ebay. :)

For this price you could still afford some koni's and a v8.

Here's one that I think is extremely creative (if not a bit vulgar):

This is a tad over your budget but at least you can ask yourself a very important question:

Why be fast when you can just blind them?

In that case, he needs these wheels to go with it.

Just think of the possibilities for on-track harassment!!!
