Anyhow, is it worth it to just send in the ticket for $135 or show up in court ( in Carthage) to make sure no crap shows up on record?

Matt, I thought that was you that I saw pulled over. That sucks. Then when I saw the white Type R beside me a few miles down the road, going about 75 in a 55, I decided to tag along for a while. Thanks for the draft?!?

So it looks like the trick is to have a tire trailer/pigroaster/cooler. Then you can be legal and the life of the party/race.
I need to fire up the welder and reach this market before everyone jumps on the bandwagaon.

No problem. I just figured that you saw the red lights from the V1.

Carl,

Thanks! I must have missed that earlier skimming through at work.

This is the best idea I've head of in a while...I DO need a new grill, and a pigroaster IS about the same size as a stack of tires....

As an added bonus, I could start a hickory smoked tire heat cycling business....

In Richmond this past weekend, a local motorcycle club had a guy with a keg and a tap on the "bitch seat" of his American iron. He's currently running neck and neck along with Chuck Norris about being the most badass dude on my list of badass dudes.

Dolph Lundgren need not apply

Yeah, that's the way I go. Hardly ever see another car, and there is literally like two stops before you're on 15/501.

Me three, as of my last 2 trips. Easier for towing too. I doubt it's faster but it's easier...

Glad to see I am not the only one that takes that route. I was beginning to believe it was much longer since I never saw anyone else go that way. Sounds like based on Steve's comments it is actually faster.

You know, I was just Google Mapping the route, and I think I am going to add one extra turn to shave 2-3 miles off that route. Arch McLean connects Old Wire and 501. If leaving the site, it's the first right off after turning on Old Wire.

Yeah, I've done Arch Mclean and it does help. Note that it's a pretty narrow road and if memory serves has a couple strange kinks. But it's not that long, so while narrow it's still not bad.

Took about 10 extra minutes to get thru, Only asked for my license and looked at the plate on the car but unless someone else checked he didn't look at the trailer. We had just put the renewal sticker on the tire trailer plate Sun AM tho so we were good. They must have had every cop in the county working that stop.
Biggest reason for going thru Wagram is to fill up the gas tank.
