I'd rather just run them on the rear and keep good tires up front. Much more fun when you can actually turn.

I have run Hoosiers in front and street tires in the rear. It was fun!

Yeah but you're in a FWD too, all the rear tires do on our cars is keep the taillights off the ground 8) . Although I can say from autocrossing in the cold, heat buildup really affects my azenis. They get grippier waaaaay faster on the front than in the rear. It was kinda fun having my wheel at a neutral position mid corner for a change.
