according to Sports Illustrated, Edgerarrin James will be an unrestricted free agent and could possibly be signed by the Panthers. :D :D :D

what?, there are other things to be interested in.

Just what the Panthers need, another back with bad wheels...

I like Edge, but i just know Carolina's history with injuries to RB's

everything i have read seems to point to the fact that Indy thinks he is too old and wants more money than they are willing to spend. haven't heard anything negative regarding his health, albeit he may not have too many years left. but then again we really only need one to get to another super bowl. 8)

Yeah, right.... That dude is gonna get Donald Trump money!

Edge blew his knee out 3 yrs ago, hence my "bad wheels" tag.

God I know too much about football, thanks to the virus known as Fantasy Football.

Ryan, Edge is a solid runner, even after the injury. You have looked at his stats, haven't you?

Let me help you:

Even with the knee injury year, he's averaging 1318 yards per season (he missed 10 games in the blowout knee season). Every other season he's played 13 games or more. 96 yards per game for his career. 11 TD's per season for the career.

If you don't want the Edge, you've been drinking 8) - AB

I want Edge, he is a STUD, no question.

I just look back thru Panthers history...

Barry Foster- Blown knee (yeah he was washed up before he got to NC)
Tim Biakabatuka- Blown knee
Fred Lane- I "think" he blew he knee
Stephen Davis- Blown knees
Deshawn Foster- Blown knee

Davis had a history of injuries before he got to the Panthers. I don't think he ever played a full season with the Redskins.

He did twice. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/1440

The Skins just knew when to cut him loose. It has to be difficult to play a full sixteen game season as a running back, especially with no marquee quarterback-receiver combination pulling defenders off of the line.
