Thanks to Dustin and Rob my crazy-ass plan to modify my roof trusses worked great on the first "pair" of 3 pair swaps -- I'm trading a storage truss from the front of the building with a scissor from the back. This is all because I *need* to be able to use my new lift at full height!
I'm doing all the prep work and gusset installation but I really need 2 people around to help with the actual moving of the trusses, and I was wondering if anyone can come and help me out in the next few days.
Framing experience is not really required, nor is going up high on ladders. There is plenty more work to be done but I at least need 2 warm bodies who can help me lift the trusses out, move them, and help position. That should take no more than an hour. If you want to do help more, great!
Here are the times that could work: Thu at 8pm, Fri at noon, 3pm, or 8pm, Sat after the rallycross, or Sun any time. I will need two rounds of helpers.
Anyone who helps can come back and use the lift after we're done!
