Go Karts THURSDAY 12/29 and FRIDAY 12/30!!!

Where: Rush Hour Karting
We have to have 5-10 people per sprint race. Right now we have enough for one race 5-8-8. If we get more folks I will schedule another race.

Thursday 12/29 Time 1530

We will need at least Five more people to get another sprint race on Friday.

I'm in. Can we make it earlier than last time (the earlier the better for me)? It would be nice to kart in the afternoon, finish up and have grab a bite/beer when we are done.

Also, if we end up with more than one group (come on guys/gals.....sign up!!), let's talk to the RHK mgmt about staggering the groups (ex, practice G1, practice G2, practice G3, qual G1, qual G2, qual G3, race G1, race G2, race G3). This way everyone is participating early on (group 3 had to wait an awful long time to get on the karts last week), it gives each driver a chance to get inside after each session to look at their times, and it gives everyone a chance to recharge inbetween sessions. Then.....best of all.....the top three from each group (or maybe top 4 if we have two groups) go on to a championship race for all bragging and "SMACK" talking rights!!

I would be down for an afternoon session since I am not working. I doubt we will be able to get time Friday night. We will see. Who can go in the afternoon Friday or Thursday night?

Rob, the intermission thing sounds like a good idea. I am thinking we will not have two ten minute sessions this time. That might help some with the fatigue thing. If we go ahead and register a league with them we can start to have regular meetings and possibly arrange our own format.

PS someone think of a quote for Rob.

I could do Thursday night... or even earlier on Friday -- but I am working, so it would have to be 5:30 on Friday at the earliest

Okay, it's a go. I went ahead and scheduled us for 1830 on Friday since that is when most folks want to go. Anywho, we are doing the sprint race which is 5,8,and 8 for $35. If we get more than ten people the run times change. If anyone has a conflict with this just post back and hopefully we can accomodate you.

I won't be back in town for a Thursday night event but I am not working on Friday and REALLY want to play. Now, I only need to find a baby sitter!!!

Woops, I completely forgot I have tickets to that game. :oops:
