Need to empty the full tank out of the Sentra before I haul it off. Anyone around that has a syphon that they are willing to let me borrow for a day or two this weekend? Thanks.

You guys should get the clutch off that car too. I think Matt only had a thousand or so miles on it.

Argghh!!! More work! Oh well.

Ok, I'll pilfer that as well and add it to the General's pile.

I would get you the tubes also, but they were for the 13's so probably would have a hard time fitting on your wheels. I'll grab the air filter too cuz it looks relatively brand new and I know that was a pain to find cheap (at least for me). :? I don't think there was anything else that he did that would help you out any.

There is probably a plug somewhere.

You could also unhook a fuel line in the engine bay, and then hotwire the fuel pump to pump the fluid out.

Make that screwdriver a brass punch just to be safe.

Cosby,

I have a rig (!) that's basically a BMW fuel pump, some hose and 2 filters that I use to siphon gas out of dead cars. You can borrow it anytime if you like- I use a 12v "jump box" to power it, but you could use a spare car battery if you don't have a box.

Works like a champ- AND filters at least some of the gunk out of questionable fuel.

I also have one of those "shaker" siphons, but I have not had much luck with that one.........
