logitec is rumored to be coming out with the new force feedback wheel for xbox
Pete, My understanding is the same as Brian's. There is no support in Xbox for force feedback. So there will never be any Xbox wheels that support true force feedback. There may be some that try to simulate true force feedback and some may do this better than others. Xbox 360 is another story as I expect it will support force feedback (if it hasn't already been confirmed).
Correct!
You can adjust the 'force effects' on the Fanatec wheel for the amount of feedback, and it has savable setting so you can set the wheel up correctly for the game you are playing. However, these are, once again, only force effects taht correspond to rumble effects. If the GAME does not do a good job with rumble effects, expect the 'Force Effects' to do a sub-standard job with the wheel.
However, good things about Forza and the Fanatec wheel is that it was designed FOR the wheel, so you have the proper amount of resistance and wheel auto-centering which makes playing with the fanatec wheel a good experience.
Needless to say, I am going to HOPE the GT4 wheel works well with XBOX 360 ... but once again, I doubt it will since there is no headset plugin for the wheel. Without that, it is about useless on Live!, so useless for me.
Add me to your friends on Forza -- I am always up for D - A class races with the 'Hack' cars

They all sound like Hoppe-mobiles
