Ok, so I didn't check the actuall size of the pics when I posted them. I just hit enter and ran.

No, the extra quart of oil didn't help. Funny thing is, there was no oil on the ground after we got it loaded, and it wasn't low (as in I'm on empty) when I checked it prior to putting the oil in!
Also, after thinking about it, I did have SOME warning before this. Just not in the way that I thought. That "exhaust" leak that I thought I had must have been this. When I changed the oil earlier, I didn't pay it any attention, but the tick went away for just under a week, then it returned. It didn't return bigger and badder, it just returned. That must have been my "warning" that something was wrong.
Latter on, when I start feeling the pinch on gas prices again, I'll have to pick up another beater. Especially if I'm still considering running SU2 next year.

So Bret, I will let you know when I'm ready to start looking. Also, after I get all the necessities off this thing (gas, gas tank, paint job) can I enlist your services for transport to Garner? Same fee or otherwise if you want. Thanks again for all your help in getting that back to the house for me.
