- I will remove posts that aren't relevant!
- If you DISAGREE with a recommendation because you had a BAD experience, please IM me and I will decide whether to remove
- Feel free to request recommendations in this thread if it makes sense to do so.

a positive endorsement for "The Natural Accent"

Adam does great work. he is booked out about 60 days but does great work and quickly once started. small businessman, he and his partner did all my work, very hands-on approach. they did in two days what would have taken me 2 weeks.

Anyone know of any good local movers? Looking for a half-day-one-load-with-all-my-really-heavy-crap type deal.

We’ve used Two Men and a Truck and been very pleased. In Durham they moved us from our 2nd story loft into our two story house quickly, without mishap, fairly priced, and arrived on time. We also had used the Two Men franchise in Wilmington when we moved my mother with the same results-so training and service must be pretty equal in all their locations.

I had a really good experience with "Every Move You Make" in Raleigh when I moved to Charlotte. Nothing was damaged. They were careful and very inexpensive. Unlike most moving companies, they showed up on time and were dressed as if they worked for a business, not like they were found hanging out at the local Wal Mart. If you can get by the cheesy Police rip off of a name, they rock :) - AB

I've always had good experiences with TROSA movers, based in Durham I believe. Enthusiastic and efficient, and benefitting the community.

I've used them twice and had a good experience both times. Once was for regular household stuff and once was for a rather large piano.

What sort of job?

I've got a guy who has done some work on our new house, but I'm waiting to see the finished product before declaring him a winner. So far so good though..... ;)
