Anyone got a house cleaner recommendation?

We are looking for a carpet cleaner that some one has a personal experiene wtih (ie proven success with removal of stains) that will tell us if/why they can't get a stain out - reasonable priced, of course - will do all the moving of the furniture etc.

Anyone know of any good local movers? Looking for a half-day-one-load-with-all-my-really-heavy-crap type deal.

We’ve used Two Men and a Truck and been very pleased. In Durham they moved us from our 2nd story loft into our two story house quickly, without mishap, fairly priced, and arrived on time. We also had used the Two Men franchise in Wilmington when we moved my mother with the same results-so training and service must be pretty equal in all their locations.

I had a really good experience with "Every Move You Make" in Raleigh when I moved to Charlotte. Nothing was damaged. They were careful and very inexpensive. Unlike most moving companies, they showed up on time and were dressed as if they worked for a business, not like they were found hanging out at the local Wal Mart. If you can get by the cheesy Police rip off of a name, they rock - AB
