Seriously considering an M3 in Cincinnati. Anyone know anyone there that might be able to help? A BMW enthusiast who could check the car out and take some pictures would be perfect... It's a long shot.

Not as sexy as Violet, but silver looks better when dirty!

Mike,

I'm going to Indy in 2 weeks for the USGP. I could go by Cincy and take a look at it if you want, take pics.

Let me know.

Mike, get a four door. I've heard a lot of the BMW gurus and racers tell me that the 4 doors actually make better race cars.. That limits you to 97 and 98, but that shouldn't be a problem.....

Car hasn't been driven in the winter ... so I'm told. We'll see, Lee Grimes (of Koni fame) may be checking the car out for me!

The price is right.

Lee Grimes is, in fact, the man! He's checking it out tomorrow after work :)

Lee's assessment based on the description and price: "Buy it"

Wonder what's wrong with this one:

I left several messages at that number last week. Methinks they dropped the leading "1" from the price.

My lesson learned thus far: If it seems to be too good to be true, it is. There ARE sub-$10k M3s out there, but they are for people more brave than I am these days...

This car has 84k miles and is a few G's more than $10k but still a VERY good deal for what is shaping up to be a VERY good car. It's got the luxury package (yuck) and it's 500 miles away, but in the price range I'm shopping, I can't get everything perfect.

I Carfaxed it. Show's two hits in October of last year on the same day.

Failed emmisions in Texas with 68,707 miles on it and then it passed on that same day with 99,911 miles.I don't care how well maintained it is, if you put 31,204 in 34 hours you've driven the crap out of it.
