I knew when I married Todd that I was second to his flying. That changed when the girls were born, but he still has it under his skin(which is why he has worked at the airport for so long!)
When he told me about what happened, I was glad to hear that you were both ok. He always told me that any landing that you can walk away from is a good one. Sounds like you made the best choice available to you at the time.
Go with what the instructors want you to do and get back up in the air as soon as you can! Todd and I are pulling for you!
