Hey,
I'm not sure how many of you know a friend of mine, Mike Blankinship. He was never a member of this club but, he used to sometimes come out to events with Bob Kendrick and myself. Mike used to manage the Precision Tune on New Bern Ave and later the one on Hillsboro Street and Jones Franklin Rd. He also had a garage in Garner near the US 70 401 split. Mike is battling cancer and has come down with pneumonia. He is at Rex Hospital in room 5057. The doctors do not expect him to last very long. I visited him today and he is fairly aware of who is there except when he gets his pain meds. If you know Mike I would suggest you visit him soon.
