It looks good, BUT I think the Miata was ment to be a convertable ONLY!

I'm sure I'm in the minority of Miata owners on this, but I'd be just as happy with my car if it was a coupe. The hardtop is on my car the vast majority of the time anyway (ducks).

I love the Miata coupe design. It really reminds me of a 9/10's scale RX-7, and that's a good thing.

I also think it resembles the last gen rx7 and I think it looks good as a coupe. and since i'm not a miata owner i don't mind saying that the coupe style is the only one i would ever buy. but thats just me..

I wonder what the headroom is like. A Miata has always been out of the question for me as one of the metal bars for the top always hits my head when the seat is adjusted to fit properly.

There are rumours of a Porsche Boxster Coupe.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

I'm with Tom. I think that coupe looks very good. Then again verts just don't do anything for me. Same with the Vette. Mine is a pop top. I'd rather it be an FRC.

If it works like Vettes then the car should be stiffer and would have improved handling. And it just has a really nice line.

I hear what Richard is saying about headroom too. It's pretty cramped in the 2 I've ridden in.

Stick the Renesis in that puppy and call it done :)
A Miata with some grunt...ooh...ahh...
My Miata is so jealous of the TT 13B in my RX-7 ;-)

As for headroom, I'm 6' and change, and I fit in the Miata okay.
My aero helmet just barely rubs on the metal bits in the top.

Now, to get below the rollbar....I'll need a race seat, but that's nothing a few $$$ can't rectify ;-)

Just got my issue of Autoweek where they are previewing the Tokyo Auto Show. In the article they say the Mazda has NO plans to bring the Miata Coupe (called the Roadster Coupe (isn't that an oxymoron?) in Japan) it the US. That is a shame.
