Ryan, if you are OK with it, I will add you to the THSCC "Car Club". As far as I can tell, you can only belong to a single "Club" at a time.

If anyone else gets this, has Xbox Live and wants to be in the club, just let me know what your Xbox Live Gamertag is!

I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like there is a pretty extensive system for painting and decals for your car. Some people are getting pretty creative...

Ok I played it last night, made my home in Japan and promptly went out and bought a drifters dream, a 1998 S14 Silvia (240sx).

Fun game but its DEFINITELY not a racing game, its a racing simulator. Microsoft worked hard on the physics of this game and it shows. Go into a corner too hot and there is not a "cheat" to save you, your toast. You tap someone in the rear and they go around.

The AI seems a bit aggressive, I cant count the number of times the damn computer punted me off track last night.

I didnt play the Xbox live with it, I wanted to get a feel for it before I ventured online. Maybe tonight....

So, does anyone else have a PS2? Or is everyone here an X-Box freak and I'm the only one of my kind?

Was curious if anyone has any comparison with Enthusia since it looks to be similar in concept to Forza.

I don't know for sure, but I think that the AI responds to your driving style. I have heard stories on the Xbox Live forums of how if you piss off one of the AI drivers, they are more agressive right back at you. So if you believe "rubbing is racing", the AI drive may rub right back. :P I haven't verified this yet.

In PGR2, in some challenges, you had not choice but to wreck your way to the front (Platinum level = last place on the grid, expert level AI, and a requirement to come in first place or you lose). I don't think you can do this in Forza. Especially if you race with simulated damage turned on.

I wish some of the races were longer. I think the ones I have run so far have only been about three laps. Sometimes it takes me at least a lap to see where I am faster (and can pass) than the AI cars. After that lap, I only have two laps left. I have noticed that they seem to be pretty timid with respects to chicanes. They don't want to ride the curbs much, so I have been able to pass them in those situations pretty easily. Then again, I am not on the highest difficulty level either. :?

There is a thread in this section on GT4. You'll find some PS2 players listed in there.
