On artistic impression, you are right Mike. However on technical merit, the clear winner is:

It is hard to argue with the unassailable logic of placing rubber oil cooler lines as close to the ground and as far in front of the car as possible.

I don't think that would pass tech... :?

That's no more dumb than the exposed oil lines running down the rocker panel on most vintage 911's I have seen. Y'know right behind the front tire where a rock can cause damage. I have never thought that was a good idea, but then again I haven't heard of any failures either :)

You guys are assuming the above lines are even connected to anything.

Yeah right. Next thing you'll say is that this wing wasn't the result of huge amounts of wind-tunnel time and careful study of drag/downforce ratios.

Nope, his kids wanted a skateboard ramp and he wanted to pimp the car. Compromise....

Notice the angle of the license plate frame, just in case any air does manage to get back there!

The Porsche factory oil line are steel line, aftermarket are most of the time rubber, I had these for many years on my car and never had any problem. When I move my oil cooler in the front bumper I pass the line in the heater duct inside the right rocker panel, a much safer way.

What kind of car is that....Well, it's obviously a race car!

Countless hours go into transforming a POS into a hideous POS.
