We are still on for tonight, correct?

It looks like I'm down to +1. The other guy took a nasty spill while riding his dirtbike over the weekend and is not in the best of shape. Apparently it wasn't the crash that hurt, it was the 2 motorcycles that ran over him afterwards.

Shouldn't be a problem - I'll call and confirm the max. Something like 12-14 IIRC.

Sorry to all the folks who couldn't stick around  !

How much lead time would people need if they $#@%-up the schedule again? I could call and post to let everyone know when we'd actually get on the track.

Oh, and Jim is so fast, he got times even when he *wasn't* there  - I do have hardcopy evidence of the one time I'll be scored faster!

I'm good with a post to the forum a couple of hours before we are supposed to get there. Thanks again for setting everything up and it certainly wasn't your fault they messed up the schedule. Despite that, I am going to hold you personally responsible.

Hey now, I'm pretty sure my 0-second-'cause-I-left lap time has to be faster than whatever 30+ second lap time you ran. I mean, 0 < 30-something, right? Isn't the goal to get the lowest time? I'll be working on a negative lap time the next time we meet so watch out! :P

That was an absolute blast! Even though I was the slowest out of our group (I am gonna blame that on my seat not latching the second heat and constantly pulling myself backup so I could reach the pedals and wheel)! It was a bummer that we had to wait so long but it gave us a chance to socialize! I'm in for the next time!!!

Charlie and I will be there next time too! I wouldn't mind trying again next week.

Even if we didn't get to race, we had some good Mexican food with Ash and Chuck.

I agree that calling a few hours before we go would be a good idea if we are making reservations.

Glad you had a good time Melia! But don't worry, if I'm there next time you won't be the slowest person out there! :P

Man, impending parenthood sure makes you bitter!

Besides, you can't do that very easily in the Rush Hour Karts with the way they are designed. I imagine the course workers wouldn't appreciate it either. Not that I have any idea what you are talking about.
