my team at work is in need of some resource scheduling software. i was wondering if anyone out there had experience with any packages and would recommned them?
our needs are simple. We have a staff of 4 project managers, 3 develoeprs and 3 software testers...work comes in from clients and is estiamted in "hours to complete"...once the client signs off on the $$$, that project needs to be placed on a schedule so that we can forcast completion dates.
at first, i thought that ms project might work, but i think we are really looking for something with more of a front end UI.
right now, this is being done manually through a spreadsheet and as you can imagine, isn't as efficient as it could be.
