So, we went to Charleston & picked up the present this weekend that Carl gave me for Christmas. (See below...Yes, really! :hyper2: ) I've had this suggestion (which I like) for a license plate & I'm curious to know if folks will get it.

Please select one of the 3 answers from the poll, but please don't give away the answer on the forum if you do get it. (Happy to receive any PMs if you want to elaborate on your answer :-).

Not sure how "immediate" this is, but I had to think about it for about 5 seconds.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

See, I have this legacy database system that I work with and the original designers created table names by removing the vowels from the names  (an effort to keep the names short?). So dealing with it on a daily basis is like trying to figure out personal plates all of the time.

PS: Mary changed the plate (swapped out an easier to figure out plate IMHO with "-BBLMKR") after I had voted. I probably would not have figured out the new one if I handn't already figured out the initial one.

I don't get it, but I have trouble with this kind of thing. But it doesn't matter if we get it if you like it. :)

My old one... the only a couple of people got it right away.

R2X = Autocross, or R to Cross. (Miata R)

I really didn't think it was that obscure. :whoknows:

Enjoy your new car. 8)

Your new license plate will forever remind me of a kid farting in a pool.

People have to realize that sometimes vanity plates backfire :) Excuse the pun.

Yeah, you have to be careful with being overly creative. You have to look at what first comes to mind. My favorite is one a co-worker was telling me about years ago. It was "ANUSTART". Which I think was supposed to be "A New Start". It also could be read as two four letter works. ;)

Oops. Can I change my vote? Cause apparently I don't get it after all.

I'm not sure what I'm driving.
Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.

A funny one I saw was on a yellow riced out Saturn here in town read: "KB BLUNT". That won't get you pulled.

I was afraid of that. :D

You probably do get it, but I'm afraid Mike's assessment is correct, too. I knew if anybody could make something distasteful from how I stated it, they'd be on this forum. :D

So, I have a couple of possible other ways of saying the same thing. Let's stop this poll & move on to "poll--Take 2"...
