i realize this is not a corvette forum, but i saw a FRC, black C5 on the lot on 401S. Park-n-Sell i think it is called. i don't think it was a Z06. just passing on the info.

FRC=Fixed Roof Coupe, in other words, a hardtop.

Vettes have had removable tops for many years on the coupes. In 99 they built a hardtop with the Z51 suspension to be the hardcore version of the car for the track crowd. Then they took that hardtop idea to use for the Z06.

All silly names aside the car is more rigid and the reduced flex helps handling quite a bit. Shame they didn't offer it for the C4...
