Remember that scene in the Love Bug when Herbie beat the #$#@%&^
out of Dean Jones' new Ferrari? But that was only a movie. Only a movie.

Are you sure I didn't see you at VIR-P last weekend?

:P

I wasn't in a very gentlemanly mood after that happened. Mine was further up on the passenger side. Far enough up to barely throw a crease in the rear edge of the door.

Durham PD was about as useful as a bucket of farts, but I think all PDs are going to be about the same in this situation.

Good luck.

I'm not sure what I'm driving.
Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.

It's not like I expect the Morrisville Donut Jockeys to go around with a yardstick and paint chip detector like they were on CSI, but the Sergeant that showed up looked more like he was upset that he'd have to go and file paperwork. Well, when he wasn't on the cellphone talking to his wife that is.

Leaning into it with my fist from the trunk removed the big dent, using a screwdriver handle got the upper smaller dent, Meguiar's Scratch-X removed the SUV's plastic scratches really well. All that's left is a small crease on the fender and some waves from the smaller dent up top (you can see the white parking stripe in the reflection has a small deviation from being perfectly straight). For a 10 year old car that's seen as much track time as this car has, I think that it's good enough for government work.
