I know many disregard the ladies, but Donna finished 3rd, just .4 sec off from her second championship in a car that would not turn on Tues, and blowing her #2,3 runs on Wed.
Chris Peterson also drove VERY well to take second in CSL in a car she was driving for only the 3rd time ever! Kung had better be watching over her shoulder next year.
I finished poorly (34/40), due to trying to figure out what to do with the car on Tues, and having to deal with a Monsoon (again!!!) on Wed. I was working so hard to keep the car under me in the wet and see the course (cones are a LOT harder to see against wet concrete under storm clouds) that I almost got lost on run 1 and missed the same easy gate twice for DNFs on runs #2,3 on Wed. Oh Well! But even if you finish DFL at nationals it is still better than being a bench racer.
