I've got a 1992 318i convertible that I don't feel like working on. It runs, but has a couple of problems and I'd like to find someone trustworthy/competent in Raleigh to take care of it for me.

I've always heard good things about The Car Place.
My family would take our 5 series there, and I've had them do a few PPIs for me recently.
We sold the BMW 12 years ago, but the same guys are running the shop.

I have good luck with Shade Tree. They are no frills and bit far out, but they do quality work for a reasonable price.

What Steve said. Contact Dave Davis over at world class. I've been going to him for years and he's never pointed me in the wrong direction...

It looks like they are about a mile from my office. I'll give them a call when I get back in town.
