I've got a set of wheels for a BMW in my garage, but no BMW. I'm trying to figure out a fair price for these things, but ebay let me down (not a large enough sample set).

If I had a price, I'd put them in the for sale section.

Staggered OZ Superleggra's, 18x8 and 18x9 all 40mm offset. I'd say they are a 9 out of 10 condition. A few dings from stones, but no curb rash, no major blemishes. Some "normal" marks in the barrels from tire mounting machines. Current tires are crap. rears are bald, fronts are "Brabus" brand, but do have reasonable tread.

They have previously seen duty on a Z4 and an E46.

I sold a set of 8x17 Ultraleggeras last year that were likely in similar condition: no curb rash, one wheel had a small chip, etc...looked new essentially although there were 8 years old. I put up an ad priced at 60% of new price (still available at TR at the time) plus shipping costs. Three days later they were sold. I probably could have gotten a bit more for them, but I like to move stuff once I decide to sell it. These were for an S4, so the ad was on audizine. Definitely dismount the tires -- almost nobody wants to buy wheels with tires mounted on them unless they are new or almost new high-end tires. Even then the shipping costs with tires is so high, the market is very weak.

FYI it's the wrong hub bore. We are alienated in e39 land.

Edit: Actually I forgot you have two tourings.

He'd need spacers for the E91 with those offsets...

ECS makes adapters that use extended bolts and changes the hub bore to be able to use late model wheels. I'm actually on the hunt for another set of wheels for the e39, so the bastard hub bore is not that big of an issue. I'm looking for a square set of wheels in 17". Not much showing up on CL right now...
