6 months ago we went to a new "parts inventory" system that required a server and domain. The company that did the install and we purchased it from doesn't mess with the domain part any more, they only do the initial installation . I have a new pc that I need swap out and add to that and I can not for the life of me get it figured out.

Looking for someone that could come and help/show me how to do it. Let me know thanks guys!

Add a computer to the domain? That part's easy, if you have the domain admin credentials.

As for the particular software, who knows what BS it requires.

Ya they will help with "their" software just not the domain part any more.

been 15 years for me but cant you just go on the new computer network info, change from workgroup or whatever it has now to the new domain? You'll get prompted for domain admin certs

you may have to set the DNS/wins IP to match what the other machines on the domain have
