Exactly. In 'merca, we drop the thing into a chipper, engine, wheels, gasoline, and all. If you remember the show Monster Garage, they sent one through with a half full propane tank in the back seat. Plus, aside from Obama's destroy-your-car-for-a-handout program, we don't scrap cars that still run, or are full of perfectly usable parts.

Maybe I missed something I was supposed to read somewhere.
Why are these being scrapped?
They look almost new.

There was a comment I saw below the video that could have made sense.

The cars may be test cars from manufacturers or something like that, basically ones that haven't had the taxes paid and never titled or whatever. Since they can't sell them to the public and were likely test cars they just scrap them.
