I am glad to be done with it. Lifespan is supposed to be around 20 years, so hopefully I will have either moved or be well off enough to write a check to have it re-done by that time...or maybe ceramic tile. I have yet to get the electrical done. The one guy I could actually get to come out and give an estimate seems pretty high. I may end up doing much of the electrical myself.

Rob, What's the going per board rate for drywall hanging and finishing for a garage?

Question wasn't to me, but since I actually had the data in my email, I paid $2450 total for 90 sheets of 4x12', hung and taped (1/3 materials, 2/3 labor), which included the garage plus finished bonus room above (edit to add: 5+ yrs ago)

I paid $3400 Materials and labor paint ready for 26 X 30 minus a 8' x 8' area where I have pegboard. Mine may have had some adds since my lights are already in so that will cause more labor. I got 3 quotes that were all in the same range.
