Long time Tarheel member Charles Wolthusen has passed away. Friends found him apparently having passed away in his sleep. Older club members will remember Charles and his Cowmaro painted white with black spots and a cow bell under the bumper. Charles had surgery for lung cancer this June and was recovering from that. He was found today so there are no arrangements at this time.

I remember Charles and the Camaro. I still have a button that says I belong to the church of driving around that he gave me at one of the Christmas parties

I too have found memories of Charles and his Cowmaro with cowbell on the front bumper.

R.I.P. Charles...

Thanks for letting us know, George. Very sorry to hear about this. Charles personified the irreverent side of our club.

Here's a surprisingly tame photo of him from a Rocky Mt. pool party.
