The fam and I walked up to see the car show today. I was surprised when I saw people queuing to buy tickets. I told the boss they must be buying tickets for a show or the demolition derby. Anywho we got in for free and went to check why I heard cars reving their motors all morning. Turns out they were having an autox. 30 second course with jersey barriers lining it. They were driving the crap out of their 400+ hp cars classic cars on a tiny course with no helmets 10 ft from the barriers. Good times.

Yeah, I saw it was like $17 for general admission, so my decision to not go was made for me.

I went to the Charlotte Autofair last weekend, and it was only $11 to get in, for a much larger event.

Pretty sure Rodney went to GoodGuys today.

I've never been to a car show that charged for admission. We just walked through where the cars were entering. Nobody stopped us.

Edit: I did pay for a show in downtown Raleigh, but we had a coupon.

Should have been $17 per adult, $14 if you purchased in advance.

Funny, I went on Sunday and thought I saw Marcus there from a distance, but got up closer and realized it wasn't him.

I saw a video of the cars running that Todd B. shared and they made pretty good use of that small lot though.
