Zuffenhausen has been moved to Canada? :)

Exactly. Manufactured in NA with hint it may be Canada. So... Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda?

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

As much as I like the boxer engine and mainly the flat 6, it doesn’t have a boxer engine.
I look at the Cayman but it will have to be a used one. I can get 2 of the cars I will get for the price of a new Cayman.
As for a DD the Cayman will not be as practical also and I already have a Porsche.
Porsche has no factory in NA, but I must say I was not expecting it to be built in NA.

Not in F-street, but the plan is to run it in street class.

Currently in F Street. Proposed for D Street in 2017.

Surprised it is built in US, so that excludes most models from domestic brands. One half the price of a Cayman, but depending upon options that can be quite a lot of money, but let's say base "S" Caymen, so around 25-30k...

Your, current Fiat isn't old so this is a stretch, but maybe a new (restyled) 2016 Fiat Abarth built in Mexico? I would consider a Focus RS, but its built in Germany I think.

I talked with Patrice a while ago and we both liked the reviews for the Civic Type R, but that's not available in the US. It's not a Civic SI. There's a history of Nissans in his history but he said no to 370z (built in Japan anyway). I SWAGGED Kia Forte, wrong!

We worked by the Cary Auto Mall so maybe he's getting it there (just my guess).

Richard I just went to the Porsche website to configure a base Cayman with the options I will like to have and it came up around 66k, they are really playing the option theme.
The Abarth is fun but it is time for something else (not Fiat).

Ok, thanks for the hint. And to be clear my 25-30K was a 1/2 Cayman value of roughly 50-60K. But as you say... option up any Porsche and you can REALLY increase the cost.

No kidding. I just did a quick build example on a base Cayman and drove the price from $52,600 to $113,000. How many cars can you more than double the price of just by adding options?

Nope, don't forget, I want to do AX also with it in street class and be relatively competitive.
