Put mine on weds night. The ZHP I got came with a set, why not use them? Wish it had a diff.
We are expecting a foot or more in Richmond.

no snows here. Had a set for the mustang a few years ago, but sold them. Any play time will have to be in the wifes x-drive. That said, I need something to play in! Poor showing here in regard to anything frozen...

If I wanted to play in the %*!&*$ snow I'd move up north. Snow is for kids and for those who get paid if the stay out of work w/o wasting a PTO day.

I put snow cables on the jeep, thinking about taking them off so I can see how it goes in the sleet without them.

We've gotten all sleet here so far, the roads are really slick, all covered in a nice layer of sleet.

I was disappointed that it appears I can't disable ESC on the Focus, I can turn off traction control in the center gauge screen but no options for ESC and there's no button on the dash or console. I guess i'm not surprised but would have been a little fun at least lol. I guess you can't have a huge amount of fun in a FWD car anyway. I guess i'll have to use the Jeep for that, it doesn't even have ABS lol.

The OEM tires aren't terribly good in the sleet though, I did find that out. They're doable but make sure you keep momentum for any low speed hills, lol. They had a not very good snow/ice rating on tire rack so it wasn't too surprising. I'll probably put DWS's on it once these wear out.

The ZHP was almost boring today. We got a lot of snow in Richmond, but it was controlled. Blizzaks FTW!

No snows on a car but the brand new set of mounted snows for our 97 Mustang is ready for installation if actually needed. Not likely for this storm since it looks like a warming spell before we need to go anywhere. Too many crazies and "unskilleds" to go out if not necessary.

The mini. I had a spare set of wheels that came with the car, and some unmounted 225-45-17 Blizzaks I bought for next to nothing sitting around, so I had them mounted.

Went for a long joyride today around the backroads, venturing into parking lots here and there for handbrake drifting and reverse j-turns. Good times. The mini makes way too much torque, overpowering the Blizzaks at anything more than a tiny throttle opening. Plenty of braking performance. Surprisingly, with the big rear swaybar I can get trailing throttle oversteer in the slippery stuff quite easily

Went tooling around in the Forester. There is a surprising amount of grip on the ~inch of sleet we got. (And about .5" of ice under that)
