My mom wants a bluetooth wireless printer that she can use with her iPad (latest version) I've not chased down bluetooth printers or apple stuff at all. Any suggestions from you tech types out there?

My first thought would be a bluetooth printer would not be that useful as you would have to be close to it. A wifi printer connected to her home wifi network would make more sense.

I didn't know bluetooth printers were even a thing. Surely iPads support printing to a real printer? Although I guess I wouldn't be surprised if they don't, lol.

This is the one I have.
Went on sale Black Friday, and price still hasn't gone back up.

Benjamin, thanks! Exactly what I was looking for and the price is where I wanted to be. Thanks for the link!

Ugh, printers with ink cartridges are the worst, lol.

I went monochrome laser and haven't looked back sense, i've also only ever had to replace the toner once after several years and thousands of prints.

I agree. I can't imagine buying an inkjet printer these days. Lasers are so much more cost effective.

We print lots of photos.
I would say that is our printers main function.

Laser printer + photo paper = house fire

Appreciate that link, but my mom is more into printing my bothers kids photos, so color is the only option here.

We just send out photos to Target to print if need be an not bother with expensive ink. For all other duties we use laser printer that I have replaced the toner only once in several years as well.

I finally got the household to go monochrome laser as well. There was some resistance, but now everyone can't imagine how we dealt with ink tanks for so long. It's so much cheaper and more reliable. If we actually need color, then it gets sent to the FedEx Office location down the street.

Now that color laser printers are down around $200, I may get one of those for the house, but we've been pretty happy with the current setup.

Just to add...

I got fed up with several sub-par printers and splurged on this color laser all-in-one when it was on sale for $440. Couldn't be happier. It's fast, it does everything, it prints duplex, it's wifi, it works with google and apple print. I can print stuff away from home from my phone. Scanning stuff to the computer takes less time than walking to the printer closet. Color copies are great. Printed pictures are good enough for kid's reports. Just a wonderful appliance and I hope it lasts for ever.
