THe Tundra got stoned over the weekend and has scars to prove it. There is a small (dime to nickel sized) chip with a few webs, hopefully I can get it repaired, rather than replace.

I already got one quote at $65, anyone have good or bad experiences locally?

Thanks,

Scott

Scott,

I just posted this company on the email list for a windshield replacement but they do repairs also. The replaced the windshield in my Mustang and did a great job. (even if he did hum the "WKRP in Cinncinnatti" theme song the whole time.) :whoknows:

I also posted to the list. Ever-Ready Mobile Glass does repairs. (Me) I have been doing repairs for 6 years and I have very few come run after being repaired. A repair does not make the spot totally disappear.
We can beat the $65 price if you bring it to us. We are located at 500 Nowell Rd. at the corner of Nowell and Germantown Rd. just up the hill from Kenny Hawkins. Also check with your insurance company. Most companies will wave the deductable for repairs. They want you to get the repair rather than put it off until it turns into a replacement.

Scott,

Glass Doctors recently replaced my cracked windshield in my 240. They did good work and they were a lower quote (by a few dollars) than the other yellow pages companies I called.

- chris

p.s. $65 ... must be nice, mine was $250
