I have started a conversation with Tire Rack about a Street Survival School out here in East Egypt. I have already spoken to Dealers Auto Auction where we have had AXs before (shouldn't that be big enough/).

Who all would be willing to instruct?

Depends on the date. Where are we talking exactly? Greenville or Willmington?

The area used in Raleigh (the RPD training facility) is ~9ac.

I assume you're talking about this place? Seems a bit small (east-west), but I could work with that. Are there light poles on that lot?

(The Ferguson lot would be perfect. They'd have to get those pipes outta there, tho)

Cline,
The TR Street Survival program is one of the best things I've seen for teens.I've instructed at the one they had last year at the Raleigh Police sight.
My understanding is that no one has access to the site until they repave it which ,from what I hear ,the Manager of Raleigh is very slow to have it done.
Philip Antoine has headed up the last school in Raleigh and it's a huge success. You may be able to get a hold of him through the local BMW chapter for any questions .Instructors need to fill out a questionaire and be approved . I know of a number of folks in this area that are interested in having their teen do the school, but becuse they won't be a school soon ,may be interested in going to yours.
I'd be in to instruct.
I do have Phil's e-mail address if you'd like to talk with him.
Chris
