Hi All! Team Simon Says needs your help! We need a few people to come hang out and crew with us at this year's 24-hour event at VIR, coming up on August 8th-9th. This year's schedule is a little different than previous years, with race start scheduled for 4PM on Saturday the 8th, running through 4pm Sunday the 9th.

For those that don't know us well, Simon has had a great past few years in Chumpcar, having won or been on the podium for 3 out the past 4 24's. Especially for The 24, crew help is critical to that success. We're throwing this out early as a few of our "regular" crew guys are likely doing their own cars this year so we suspect we'll need some additional help.

You don't need to be a pro to come help! Everything you need to know can be learned over a beer or two in a pre-race planning meeting. The only gear needed is a set of leather shoes (we have extra suits, gloves, and helmets for the fuelers). We have a camper trailer and enclosed car hauler with cots for mid-race snoozes. The pay sucks, but we will feed and caffeinate you, and it is a good time (particularly if you make it up to party with us Friday night!). And, if you're at all interested in racing at the next level, there's far worse ways to pick up some tips! There should also be some good racing to watch Saturday, with both Sprint races, as well as Champtruck (i.e. Big Rigs on VIR) running prior to the 24-hour race start.

Feel free to email me at dmfred_at_gmail_dot_com if you have any questions! Thanks for considering!

Need to look at my schedule, but I am almost positive I can do this.

Hey Guys,

I would love to help out. We are not going to be doing the event this year but would like to be involved!

I'm in as well. I'll likely try and show up late again so I can stay up all night.
