So I did a little work to the mustang this weekend. Very happy w/ the final product. I relocated my current gauge setup using an autometer gauge pod and relocated the gauges above the dash. Then I installed a Raxiom infotainment system. For the money, a very cool system. It has GPS, CD, DVD, back up camera, AM/FM, iPod and a few other options. So far I'm digging this setup.

Started w/ this....

tore it down to this....

and ended up w/ this....

So none of this is performance related, but man, it really steps up the interior.

Rodney, That head unit looks remarkably good (to me, that means OEM in appearance).

Where does the rear-view camera go? I saw a drill bit in the parts inventory on the American Muscle site.

Will look forward to seeing it in person.

Looks great & clean install. I never was a big fan of large touchscreen head units in car until I got the Scion. They're so much easier than mashing tiny buttons.

Thanks Art. I've got about 5 hours of install time invested in this beast. The camera is mounted just to the right of the license plate light. That was the worst of the cable runs. You have to remove the passenger side kick panel, sill plate, rear seat bottom and remove the rear bumper cover. None of that was difficult, but it was time consuming. I will note that the install instructions provided by AM are complete junk. It took several hours of web searching to find a forum thread that showed how to install this. Once I had the info I needed it was easy enough to get everything installed.
