Quick look says both of those look good except for an open lien on the 1995 (!!) 240. WRX has no records since 2013 which is worth asking about. Low miles is nice. Big gap in records for the 240 from 96-01, not alarming.

Thanks! The 240 is mine. I have no idea why it says there is a lien. I paid it off 8 years ago. I just wanted an updated carfax before I try to sell it.

As for the WRX, I'm happy to see it is a Southern car. I know it's been in storage while the owner was off on military duty. I wonder if they will have to pay back taxes before they sell it or what?

That's the skimpiest Carfax I have ever seen. Virtually nothing except renewals, which could be a good thing...

I have two 2009 RX-8's I'm looking at, both 1 owner cars on cars with just a touch over 100k miles.... and both perfectly clean reports. Very, very ODD, but a good thing. Thanks for the help Mike. - AB

Yeah, that looks suspicious. Also it was in Korea for a period of time. WRX's must be a popular service member car. It's been on Craigslist for awhile with a ridiculously high price close to $10k initially. http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/5061695891.html The Carfax certainly does not agree with the description.

Anyway, thanks for all of your help. I'm holding out for the first one for now (2 owner, no rust belt, low miles, service history) as I'm just waiting for the owner to officially put it up for sale soon. I found out about it a bit before he was prepared to sell it.
