I thought it was pretty cool we have a banner with the club's name up at Rush hour karting. Myself and several friends snagged one of the groupons for a Grand Prix, boy what a blast that was.
unfortunately one of my friends got pretty motion sick and couldn't run the last race but plenty of fun was had by all. Austin barely made a faster lap by a few hundredth thousands of a second, I attribute that to weight, lol.
Also a co-worker told me that Kart 13 was slow and to avoid it, but of course with it being Friday the 13th, I got kart 13, and the times I was running were the same times he ran in it. Although he said he ran 31.7's and I ran a 31.4, so maybe I really am the better driver, I smell a re-match on the horizon, lol.
I had my go-pro on so i'll be uploading the videos to youtube soon enough. We had quite the mix of drivers, probably about 4-5 who were serious drivers and the rest probably never have driven anything fast or hard.
Austin and myself are working on a team for the Kart Enduro at VIR so we'll be practicing up, we might have so slow pokes in the team, but maybe we can make up for them, lol.
