I'm buying a set of wheels/tires from an autocrosser in Baltimore between now and Danville hopefully but I don't really have time to drive there, especially now that 'our' snow and ice has finally melted. So, is it an arm & a leg to ship a set of wheels and front sway bar?

Any perspective or experience would be appreciated. If I had to guess I can't imagine a wheelset would be less than $150 based on the weight alone. Hopefully I'm wrong.

thanks,
MM

I seem to recall it costing a little more than $50 to ship 4 to Chicago, but I shipped them through work because we get a better commercial rate.
If you can have them shipped to your place of business it will be cheaper. If your employer has a purchasing department they may be able to help you out.
