I'm still working on this. It's an odd one because I can send out test emails from the forum system, but notifications don't do anything even though they are configured to be on. Nothing has changed, and there are no errors in any logs related.

Never a dull moment!

Noah

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

I would love to take credit for fixing this, but I can't. I subscribed to this thread, created my Test post (which should trigger an email) and while nosing around in the admin section (didn't change anything) I saw that I got a notification email! :)

Oh! One thing to point out. If the forum has a bad email address for you... then it clearly can't reach you. I know for a fact that a percentage of the email address for the forum accounts will bounce back because they are bad. I think it is just people who registered many years ago and now have different email addresses and never updated it here.

Richard

Just curious...would it be more beneficial to have a membership link more prominently displayed on the main page instead of in the <club> dropdown menu? Seems like it would be easier for prospective members to see the registration/application info if it were placed there. Or, maybe make it a separate tab next to the <calendar> tab?

Stephen,

Good question and we also thought about this. We determined that since the login for the website is currently only for designated staff to update the site with club content, we didn't put it in the main menu. If we change this or integrate authentication with the forums if we are able, this might change. Also because of this decision, we renamed it from User Login to Staff Login.

Thought I would mention it here. The website still lists the next meeting as March 11th.
