Looks similar to the 2009 documentary "Racing Dreams." Also not unlike "Friday Night Tykes" "The Short Game" etc. Wonder how the producers will frame the parents in this one...

I've never seen any of those. Looks like it will be more drama than racing.

Interestingly, it is On Demand with ATT Uverse right now, instead of premiering Jan 28. I checked out Episode 1, and it is OK. Not a lot of racing, mostly introductory stuff. The dads all appear to be "self-made" business owners, successful enough to pursue a costly hobby like karting, and I have a lot of respect for that. They didn't show much of the kids' personalities, though.

Groundbreaking motorsports television, this is not.
