Craziest thing I have seen on the internet today...

Not sure, but I think it is a hydrogen peroxide engine. I can't imagine trying to hold on at that top speed and the acceleration looks insane.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Freakin' incredible! Wonder where the designer found such skinny tires capable of those speeds. Also wonder where the rider found a racing suit capable of fitting his nads.

Have to haev basket balls,in order to be nuts enough to do that.My mntn bike goes about 20 or 30 on a steeeeep hill. And even then does not stop on a dime.I heard about some cat,who did 100 mph on a rc jet powered skate board. He rode the thign luge style.Raced a v6 mustang, real hard right? in a quarter mile, went 100 mph on a skate board for goodness sakes.I will do 100 mph in a roll bar race car thank you.

For some reference, I've done 53MPH on a mountain bike on a road downhill (GPS indicated). It's scary as hell. That bike was a carbon frame with full suspension. I've done just over 50MPH on that same hill on a hardtail (front suspension, but no rear), which I attribute to slightly higher rolling resistance of the tires being used on that day and possibly not quite as much gear to be going quite as fast when I dropped into the hill (in both cases I was trying to be going as fast as I could go before heading down, but both bikes had different gearing capabilities).

I've done some road riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway on my road bike, but the most I'll go on it is about 43MPH. It's a titanium frame and those flex a lot (on purpose) and it feels like it's getting too unstable to allow it to go any faster, so I'm on the brakes like a big ole chicken. I'm sure I've been on big enough hills to eclipse my 53MPH record, but just not on the right bike!

207? Wow.

My mountain bike,on the trials .Seldom gets out of the low range, which is fine with me running over things.Going ok but not terribly fast,is fine when your surrounded y things to hit.I will stay going slow for me, i dont ride street.

Good plan. I'm mostly the same way. Only reason I have those road numbers on a mountain bike is because of a race in North Wilkesboro that's mostly trail but has a couple road sections to link together different trails. And one of those roads is on a hill going down the back side of a big dam on a big lake. And you have to go back *up* basically the same thing pretty immediately, so it is well worth it to go as fast as you can down so you have a lot less pedaling to do going up.

I was in a full tuck pretty much laying on the handlebar the entire way down, too. I've done it a few times now, and once I had a truck turn in front of me and had to take some evasive maneuvers as well as use some brake. I was cussing like a sailor having to pedal up the other side thanks to that one...oh, and the part about almost dying in a horrific 50MPH bicycle accident. ;)
